From the Founder
Shell Sock was created a few months after my amputation when I realized the foot shell of the prosthetic was the most flawed part of my new leg.
Being outdoorsy and working in construction meant dust, sand, and mud was constantly getting in the shell, wearing out my expensive foot. Beyond the function, I also wanted something with a nicer aesthetic to cover the foot shell. Normal socks only last a couple of days and offer no protection for the foot shell underneath. Over time, I’ve worked with great designers and manufacturers to build what I have wanted for myself and I hope others will find value in Shell Sock as well.
